After the drawing process i always like to get down into the print rooms and start transferring my designs onto paper and fabric using a range of print processes.
One of my favourites is Lino printing, and for this project I produced over 20 Lino blocks, both hand-carved, and i also experimented with cutting the Lino blocks using the laser cutter.
Although this techniques is more exact there is not such a variation in the quality and thickness of line which is something i prefer about hand cutting the Lino.
I produced some nice clean prints, i also was able to experiment with overlaying and combining different Lino blocks.
The end results were some interesting paper prints which i could then manipulate using the computer into some digital design pieces.
