Research, Research, Research...

One of my favourite parts of a project is the research stage. I love to sit for hours flicking through hundreds of books and magazines, collecting a massive pile of imagery for drawing and inspiration.
For this project I visited the British Museum Anthropology Library, a truly amazing source of information on any culture you can name. I also made a trip to the Horniman museum in London where they have a fantastic handling gallery which i was kindly allowed access to alongside a beautiful africa gallery, full of objects and masks which fit perfectly with my current research ideas.
